| Victoria amazonica and Nymphaea gigantea 'Albert de Lestang' grew side by side in "Riches" in 2002. The giant of Victorias and the giant of waterlilies competed for pad space all season. Though amazonica obviously won the pad race, gigantea won for flower size. | ||
