The beauty found at the Oregon Garden is just the beginning of the story or, more accurately, it is the end result of a unique and innovative approach to creating a garden. In the mid-1990's, the Oregon Association of Nurserymen, planning a botanical garden, and the City of Silverton, needing a use for its reclaimed water, partnered to create this fabulous blend of wetlands, ponds and theme gardens.
