This historic garden has been lovingly restored by the dedicated group who comprise the Indian River Land Trust. Situated in an ancient hammock, visiting it was like returning to the Florida of long ago.

The magnificent entrance pergola was wreathed in Confederate Jasmine (Trachelospermum jasminoides) in full and fragrant bloom. Jade Vine (Strongylodon macrobotrys), pictured at the left, dangled here and there. Much of the garden is water, streams, falls, ponds and lakes.
