Nymphaea
'Stanley Angus Skinger'

Andreas Protopapas has named this new deep red cultivar with 38 petals 'Stanley Angus Skinger', after an old friend and correspondent from the email discussion lists. Stan was for many years volunteer propagator of tropical waterlilies at Denver Botanic Gardens, and is considered by many an expert in waterlily identification. He has also made numerous trips to Amazonia, often as trip leader/guide, studying Victoria and other plants in their habitat.
