We received an image of N. 'Laydekeri Rosea' and another of 'Laydekeri Rosea Prolifera' from two different contributors. Andreas Protopapas in Cyprus, noted authority on hardy lilies, provided the following information: "'Laydekeri Rosea' was created by Marliac and it was a single tuber plant. It has now been lost. Marliac later created 'Laydekeri Rosea Prolifera' that could be multiplied by eyes. It is highly unlikely that 'Laydekeri Rosea' exists in cultivation. It would not produce any seed or eyes so it could only be reproduced by crossing the parents." Based on this information and close comparison of the images, both are now designated as 'Laydekeri Rosea Prolifera'. Click browser "Back" to return to Names or Gallery
